Cub Scout Program

The Cub Scout program serves youth in Kindergarten through 5th Grade. Cub Scouts is open to both girls and boys.

Pack 287 enthusiastically welcomes all youth regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, abilities, or other demographic characteristics.

Youth are welcome to join any time during the year.

In addition to the above required adventures, there are 16-20 elective adventures each year. These include a variety of skill- and character- building activities. Scouts are welcome to complete as many or as few adventures as they want; the requirements in the above image are for earning the badge of rank, but scouts advance to the next den with other children their age/grade no matter how many adventures they complete.

STEM Programming

Cub Scouts have opportunities to engage in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) adventures each year with activities designed to fit with the age/grade of the youth.
