The Cub Scouts program serve youth in Kindergarten through 5th Grade. Cub Scouts is open to both girls and boys. Pack 287 enthusiastically welcomes all youth regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, abilities, or other demographic characteristics. Youth are welcome to join any time during the year.
Parents/guardians can complete an application form for their youth in Kindergarten through 5th Grade. The application can be accessed by clicking the Join Now button below, through BeAScout, or a paper copy can be requested by visiting us at a meeting.
Membership is currently $220 per year. Each membership is valid for 12 calendar months (starting with whatever month you join), so the cost averages out to under $20 per month. This includes all den and pack meetings, a t-shirt, and some events. Typically 1-2 family camping opportunities per year are also provided without additional cost. Some elective activities do involve additional costs, but these are always optional. Please contact us at PortagePack287@gmail.com if you have any questions or would like more information. Total: $220 per year
Scout Life magazine is optional and is an additional $15 paid to national BSA.
